Semefab were proud to sponsor the Success Through Sustainability Award at the 2017 Fife Business Awards held at the Rothes Halls, Fife, Scotland. The ceremony was a fantastic celebration of the success, diversity and innovation that can be found throughout the Fife business community. As a company Semefab continually strive to increase efficiency and reduce waste and impact on the environment. Many of Semefab’s products serve to help our customers do the same – such as our JFETS for passive Infra Red Sensors and Cadmium free ROHS compliant light sensors used to save energy in lighting products and gas sensors used to monitor pollution and air quality.
We saw sponsoring the Success Through Sustainability Award as a fitting way to emphasise one of our core values.
The Award was won by Kettle Produce who were established in 1985 by two farming families from Fife, Scotland. They have a vast experience in vegetable production and have been growing in partnership since 1976. Kettle Produce are highly committed members of LEAF (Linking The Environment and Farming) and practice sustainable farming in accordance with LEAF principles. That means enhancing the use and value of key assets including workforce, capital and machinery to the benefit of natural habitats and resources such as soil, water, wildlife and landscape.
