The role
In this customer-facing role, you will have full responsibility for developing, implementing and maintaining all aspects of quality assurance through our Quality Management Systems.​ Key functions entail coordinating the daily activities of the QA Department; leading a small team of QA Inspectors and Administrators; coordinating issues that require corrective actions and driving resolutions with customers, suppliers and engineering departments; collating and presently quality metrics; ensuring continuous improvement of processes and systems that align with company objectives and execution of departmental tasks with a focus on providing exceptional service to our customers.​

You also must be well organized, self motivated and have great drive to getting the job done.

 

Experience and Skills
Successful candidates will have:

  • Several years experience of working as a QA Manager position in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the semiconductor industry.
  • A BSc / Masters / PhD degree in engineering, physics or equivalent.
  • A thorough knowledge of current Quality Management Systems, Quality Specifications and Quality Standards including but not limited to ISO 9001:2015, AEC-Q101, ISO 13485:2016 & IATF16949 along with other microelectronic standards
  • Experience of managing and co-ordinating BSI / ISO, customer and internal audits.
  • Experience in leading and implementing automotive industry related quality tools, such as APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, etc.
  • Extremely strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience leading systematic root cause analysis (including 8D and 5 why) and corrective action activities.
  • Experience engaging with engineering to support all aspects of design and manufacturing change controls processes, risk management, continuous process improvement and application of statistical process control methodologies for key product/process characteristics to drive predictive performance outcomes.
  • Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively persuade and influence through positive communications with stakeholders, team members, suppliers & management.
